Blake Griffin Founder, It’s Not About You Sports

Blake Griffin was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He began his baseball career at the age of 3, playing “blast ball” at Phipps Park in West Palm Beach. Blake quickly mastered the game of baseball and began high level competition on All-Star and Travel Teams. Blake has competed throughout the State of Florida, the Southeast Region of the United States and Internationally.

Blake currently attends Forest Hill Community High School and competes competitively with the Falcons Varsity Baseball program and Summer Showcase Scout teams. Blake strives to balance athletics with high academic excellence and positive support for his community.

For over 20 years, Cameron Wester was a beloved member of the baseball community in South Florida. Cameron dedicated his life to the training and mentoring of aspiring umpires, athletes and coaches. He competed at both the High School and College level and received the honor of being inducted into the Cooperstown Umpire Hall Of Fame. 

Cameron ultimately found his home at PHIPPS park in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he travelled nationally with the parks teams and mentored the youth. Not a Saturday went by where you couldn’t find Cameron at Phipps Park reciting knowledge to players and fans alike. 

Cameron Wester thrived as an umpire and was adored by coaches, staff and fans. He made the game an exciting event and upheld all players, coaches and parents to the highest level of sportsmanship. 

Cameron Wester will never be forgotten and forever missed.
